Szpytma elected IPN head 226–194; Tusk vows Senate will reject him

The Sejm elected Mateusz Szpytma as IPN president by 226 votes to 194, with 4 abstentions. He was backed by PiS, Konfederacja, PSL and most of the Poland 2050 club. Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced that the Senate will reject Szpytma's candidacy.
