Central Asia heatwave: up to 45°C in Kazakhstan, nurseries closed in Uzbekistan

Central Asia is gripped by an extreme heatwave, with temperatures reaching 45°C in southern Kazakhstan. Nurseries across many regions of Uzbekistan have been closed due to the dangerous conditions. Similar heat is affecting other countries throughout the region.
