Tusk rules out open-ended fuel subsidies: 'Budget has its limits'

Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated on Friday that the government cannot indefinitely subsidise low fuel prices from the state budget. He said "the budget has its limits," effectively closing the door on further price interventions in the fuel market. His comments come as petrol and diesel prices have again exceeded 7 PLN per litre at Polish stations.
