Zakopane sees fewer Middle Eastern tourists than last summer

Agata Wojtowicz, head of the Tatra Chamber of Commerce, confirmed that Zakopane is welcoming fewer tourists from the Middle East this summer compared to last year. Despite unfavourable weather, the tourist season is under way and local businesses report steady visitor numbers overall. The drop in Gulf region visitors — who flocked to the mountain resort in recent years — was a feared but confirmed trend.
