EU proposes 50% of ETS revenues go to decarbonisation

The European Commission has proposed that EU member states allocate at least 50% of revenues from the Emissions Trading System (ETS) to decarbonisation investments. This forms part of a broader reform of the EU's climate framework. The proposal still requires approval from member states and the European Parliament.
