Polish Sejm elects Mateusz Szpytma as new IPN president

The Sejm approved the candidacy of Mateusz Szpytma to head the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN). Szpytma, currently deputy president of the IPN, will replace Karol Nawrocki, who became President of Poland. The appointment still requires Senate confirmation.
