Violent Storms With Gale-Force Winds to Hit Poland — Alerts Issued

Hot, humid air will push into Poland from the west, triggering dangerous storms with gusts strong enough to snap trees. The worst conditions are expected in the second half of the day, according to warnings from IMGW and the Government Crisis Management Centre (RCB). Weather alerts have been issued for most of Poland's voivodeships. High humidity combined with heat will make conditions oppressive and hazardous in some areas.
