Tether, the company behind the USDT stablecoin, has invested $20 million in Argentine neobank Ualá as part of its Latin American expansion strategy. Ualá's CEO clarified that Tether is acting solely as a financial investor in the deal. Current regional regulations prevent any immediate integration of USDT into Ualá's platform.
