Companies drop out of state-funded four-day work week pilot

More than 5,000 employees across 80 organisations are taking part in Poland's state-funded shorter working hours pilot, but some companies dropped out before it even began, with more following after six months. The Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy attributes the withdrawals to organisational difficulties and companies' inability to adapt to the programme's requirements.
