Polish scientists pinpoint Mars crater Hellas as ideal site for a forest

Scientists from Warsaw University of Technology, working with NASA, calculated the minimum climate conditions needed to grow the first tree on Mars. They identified the Hellas crater in the planet's southern hemisphere as the optimal site for a Martian forest due to its relatively favourable atmospheric conditions. The research is part of broader planetary engineering efforts.
