NBP's unrealised gold profit fell by 65 billion zł in four months

The National Bank of Poland's unrealised profit on its gold reserves fell by more than 65 billion zł in four months, due to a correction in global gold prices. NBP Governor Glapiński had promoted the gold holdings as the basis for the "Polish SAFE 0 percent" programme. Despite the drop, the unrealised gain remains substantially higher than it was two or three years ago.
