Polish Sejm passes resolution recognising genocide in eastern territories of interwar Poland

The Polish Sejm passed a resolution commemorating the victims of genocide carried out by Ukrainian nationalists in the eastern territories of interwar Poland. The resolution is symbolic in nature and honours those killed in massacres commonly known as the Volhynia massacre and related atrocities in the Kresy region.
