Nawrocki signs law linking doctors' salaries to PESEL numbers

President Karol Nawrocki has signed an amendment to Poland's public healthcare financing law. The new rules will allow more detailed salary data to be collected for doctors and other medical professionals, linked to their PESEL number or professional licence number. Nawrocki justified the move by stating that "everyone has the right to decent care."
