Cryptocurrency markets fell sharply, with Ether dropping twice as hard as bitcoin amid an unwinding of the chip trade. HYPE token fell 10%. Ether remains the only major cryptocurrency still holding a weekly gain, though only barely. Japan's Nikkei also suffered its worst day since March.
