Adam Driver in talks to play William Stryker in Marvel's "X-Men"

According to Nexus Point News, Adam Driver is in negotiations to join the cast of Marvel's "X-Men" — but not as Magneto, as had been widely rumoured. The role reportedly on offer is William Stryker, a fanatical anti-mutant ex-military villain linked to the secret Weapon X programme. Stryker first appeared in comics in 1982, created by Chris Claremont and Brent Anderson.
