"Children of Blood and Bone" author disavows film adaptation as first images released

The first official images from the film adaptation of Tomi Adeyemi's fantasy novel "Children of Blood and Bone" have been released online. Adeyemi publicly stated she has not seen the film and does not plan to, and reportedly blocked star Amandla Stenberg on social media. Director Gina Prince-Bythewood has presented a contrasting picture, saying the collaboration with the author went well.
