ZUS chief sceptical of later retirement for childless women

ZUS (Social Insurance Institution) president Liwiusz Laska has expressed clear scepticism about a proposal by Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz to tie women's retirement age to the number of children they have had. He warned the idea could penalise childless women, including those unable to have children, and would raise serious constitutional questions. Laska said he is personally opposed to the concept.
