Listkiewicz on Marciniak being dropped: Trump's politics may be behind it

Former international referee Michał Listkiewicz criticised in an interview with Interia the decision not to assign Szymon Marciniak to referee the World Cup semi-final. He suggested politics may have been involved, possibly linked to U.S. President Donald Trump. Listkiewicz said he cannot understand how an official with such a controversial background was selected instead.
