Nawrocki signs Swiss franc loan law – both borrowers and banks unhappy

President Karol Nawrocki has signed into law new regulations governing the handling of Swiss franc mortgage cases in Polish courts. The law is intended to speed up proceedings, but a portion of borrowers accuse it of favouring banks. The banking sector, meanwhile, says the legislation as passed has "lost its purpose" and fails to meet their expectations.
