Patostreaming now a crime in Poland – up to 3 years in prison

President Karol Nawrocki has signed an amendment to the Criminal Code making patostreaming — the broadcasting of harmful or degrading content online — a criminal offence. The maximum penalty is 3 years in prison. The law was developed by combining draft bills from PiS and KO and is intended to protect children from toxic live-stream content.
