Women on Boards law: companies face up to 500,000 PLN fine for all-male boards
Poland's Senate has passed a law implementing the EU's Women on Boards directive, now awaiting the president's signature. Large companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange could face fines of up to 500,000 PLN for failing to ensure adequate female representation in their governing bodies. Analysts note the law is unlikely to trigger an immediate shake-up of board compositions in practice.
