Nawrocki vetoes cohabitation bill — cites constitutional protection of marriage

President Karol Nawrocki announced his veto of the cohabitation status bill. In an official statement he explained that he would not act against the constitutional protection of marriage as a union between a man and a woman. The bill would have granted cohabiting partners certain legal rights.
