Poland's Finance Minister rules out fuel subsidy return due to budget deficit

Polish Finance Minister Andrzej Domański said on Friday that the government is monitoring the situation in the Middle East and fuel availability, but pointed to Poland's high budget deficit as the main obstacle to reviving fuel subsidy programmes. He did not rule out a return of the "Lower Fuel Prices" scheme but gave no concrete plans or timeline.
