NIK report: Doctors worked 144 hours straight at Sulęcin hospital A&E

Poland's Supreme Audit Office (NIK) has published a report on hospital emergency departments, revealing serious irregularities. At the district hospital in Sulęcin, doctors worked continuously for 144 hours; in many other hospitals, shifts exceeded 24 hours. The audit points to systemic staffing and organisational failures in Polish A&E units.
