GameStop CEO: video game software is less than 12% of company revenue

GameStop CEO Ryan Cohen revealed that video game software now accounts for less than 12% of the company's revenue, dismissing concerns about the decline of physical game sales. Despite its $56 billion offer being rejected, GameStop still intends to acquire the online marketplace eBay. The company is clearly shifting toward a business model largely unrelated to video games.
