Poland drops from 2nd to 7th cheapest fuel in EU after subsidy programme ends

Following the expiry of the Polish government's "Ceny Paliwa Niżej" (Lower Fuel Prices) subsidy programme, Poland fell from 2nd to 7th place in the EU ranking of cheapest petrol and to 8th for diesel in just two weeks. Drivers are feeling the price increase at the pump. Poland still remains below the EU average for both fuel types.
