Beijing furious over UK nationalisation of Chinese-owned British Steel

China's Ministry of Commerce on Friday expressed "firm opposition and strong dissatisfaction" over London's decision to nationalise British Steel, owned by Chinese group Jingye. Beijing accused the UK government of abusing the concept of national security. The move marks a further deterioration in Sino-British relations.
