Smart home vs. heatwaves: blinds, AC and sensors automate cooling

More than half of Poles say high temperatures affect their physical health, and 45% their mental health, according to a Verian survey for Somfy. Smart home systems — automated external blinds, smart air conditioning and temperature sensors — can significantly reduce indoor heat without constant manual input. External blinds can block up to 70% of solar radiation before it reaches the glass.
