7-Eleven owner in talks to buy major Żabka stake for billions

The owner of the 7-Eleven convenience store chain is in talks to acquire a major stake in Polish retailer Żabka. News of the negotiations sent Żabka's share price sharply higher. However, the deal would not mean a full takeover of the chain or its disappearance from Polish streets.
