Göransson used ancient Greek instruments and scrap metal to score Nolan's "The Odyssey"

Composer Ludwig Göransson is reuniting with Christopher Nolan for "The Odyssey," their third collaboration after "Tenet" and "Oppenheimer." Nolan instructed him to avoid modern sounds, leading Göransson to use ancient Greek instruments, scrap metals and gongs. This marks a significant departure from the heavy synths he employed for "Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu."
