Korneyeva knocks out favourite Ann Li at WTA Athens

Ann Li, one of the favourites at the WTA 250 tournament in Athens, was eliminated in the quarterfinals after just over an hour of play against lower-ranked Russian Alina Korneyeva. The American's defeat is a major upset, as other tournament favourites progressed without trouble. Korneyeva advances to the next round.
