Buzz Aldrin's Apollo 11 life-saving felt-tip pen sells for over $850,000

A felt-tip pen used by Buzz Aldrin during the July 1969 moon landing has sold at auction for more than $850,000. Aldrin used it to rearm the engine arm circuit of the lunar module Eagle after the original switch broke off, potentially saving the crew from being stranded on the Moon. The pen has since become an iconic relic of the Apollo 11 mission.
