Netflix has no near-term plans to launch a free streaming service

Netflix Co-CEO Greg Peters confirmed the company is considering a free, ad-supported streaming service (FAST), but has no near-term plans to launch one. Peters stated directly: "Free is something that we're going to continue to consider, but we have no near-term plans to launch something."
