Hyundai workers strike over humanoid robot deployment
Thousands of unionized workers at Hyundai's Ulsan plant in South Korea — the world's largest automotive factory — began staging early shift walkouts from July 13–15 after 15 rounds of negotiations over humanoid robot deployment failed. Workers plan four-hour strikes from July 20–22. It is considered the car industry's first factory stoppage specifically targeting humanoid robots.
