Greystar, largest US landlord, accused of 114 fair housing violations across 7 states
Greystar, the largest apartment owner and manager in the US, faces civil rights complaints filed in six states and the District of Columbia accusing it of 114 violations of fair housing laws. The complaints allege the company systematically refuses to accept federal housing choice vouchers (Section 8) in jurisdictions where landlords are legally required to do so. Complaints were filed in California, Hawaii, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, Virginia and Washington DC.
