Mira Murati releases Inkling, her first open-source AI model after leaving OpenAI

Mira Murati, former CTO of OpenAI, has released her first AI model called Inkling under a fully open-source licence. While it does not yet match the leading Chinese open-weights models in performance, it gives Western developers an open alternative they have previously lacked. The release comes through Murati's new company after her departure from OpenAI.
