JSW Union Demands Apology from Minister Balczun Over 4,200 Job Cuts

The protection programme at Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa (JSW) could result in around 4,200 workers — nearly 20% of the workforce — leaving the company. Union representatives warn that staff shortages are already hampering mining operations. They are demanding explanations and a public apology from State Assets Minister Wojciech Balczun.
