Japanese study: regular cultural outings lower biological age by 3 years

A Japanese study has found that people who regularly visit theatres, cinemas or museums have a biological age roughly three years lower than those who rarely engage with cultural activities. Even occasional visits — as infrequent as once every few months — appear sufficient to produce a measurable anti-ageing effect. The findings suggest that cultural participation may slow the biological ageing process.
