Ukraine's parliament has appointed a new government, with Serhiy Koretsky — the former head of an energy company — confirmed as prime minister after a vote of 289 deputies. His candidacy was put forward by President Volodymyr Zelensky. The new prime minister stated that his priorities will be Ukraine's defence, economic stability and EU integration.
