Szumowski: Doctors earning 2 million zloty a year is "terrifying"
Former Polish Health Minister Łukasz Szumowski described cases of doctors earning one to two million zloty annually as "terrifying" greed, speaking on the "Gość Wydarzeń" programme. He nevertheless opposed a blanket crackdown on all medical companies, calling such an approach "a complete misdirection". Szumowski drew a distinction between individual cases of excess and the broader systemic issues in healthcare.
