Eastern Holy Cross region hides medieval ruins, caves and lakeside gems

TV presenter Klaudiusz Michalec visited the eastern part of the Holy Cross (Świętokrzyskie) voivodeship, including Szydłów, the Opatów area and Ćmielów. The region offers medieval atmosphere, large ruins, mysterious underground passages, a hidden rocky lakeside and local cuisine. Despite its remarkable attractions, the area remains little-known among tourists, making it a genuine off-the-beaten-track discovery.
