Slovak woman dies after buying cheese from Polish street seller outside a church

A 63-year-old woman from the village of Lutise in Slovakia died after a month in hospital following a severe bacterial infection. She had bought cheese from a Polish street seller who was offering food products from the boot of his car outside a church. Slovak health authorities seized the goods, which were stored only in ordinary plastic bags with no refrigeration.
