Ex-CEO of Italian motorway company gets 12 years for Genoa Morandi bridge collapse
The former CEO of Autostrade per l'Italia was sentenced to 12 years in prison for the 2018 collapse of the Morandi bridge in Genoa, which killed 43 people. In total, 32 people were convicted across the trial, while 25 were acquitted or had their charges dropped due to the statute of limitations.
