Not that long ago, Tinashe was a cult-beloved singer who was stuck in seemingly endless major-label purgatory, despite obvious talent and charisma, as well as a pretty decent little run of hits. Ever since she finally went independent a few years ago, she's been thriving. She scored a couple of excellent viral hits on her 2024 album, 2024's Quantum Baby , and now she's following it with another one called Popstar . She has earned that title.
