UK slashes aid to nine African countries by over 80%, virtually ending partnerships
The UK has cut foreign aid to nine African countries, including Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Tanzania and Mozambique, by more than 80%, reducing allocations to £5 million or less and effectively ending longstanding partnerships. Aid organisations have described the cuts as "devastating" for communities that have relied on British support for years.
