Dembélé accused teammates after France's 0-2 semi-final loss to Spain at the World Cup

France were knocked out of the World Cup hosted by the USA, Canada and Mexico after a 0-2 semi-final defeat to Spain, ending hopes of a farewell gold medal for departing coach Didier Deschamps. According to L'Équipe, a heated argument broke out in the dressing room in which Ballon d'Or winner Ousmane Dembélé publicly accused his teammates. The atmosphere in the French camp is reported to be extremely tense.
