PS3 emulator hits 75% library compatibility ahead of Sony's 2027 store closure

Sony will shut down the PlayStation 3's digital storefront in July 2027, ending over 20 years of support. Some titles will no longer be purchasable anywhere and may become prohibitively expensive in physical format. In response, a PS3 emulator has announced 75% compatibility with the console's library, potentially the only way to preserve access to many titles.
