Teleprompter operator allegedly bet on Trump statements via Kalshi; CFTC investigates

A teleprompter operator allegedly placed bets on Kalshi, a US prediction market platform, wagering on the content of President Trump's public statements and generating profits of more than $90,000. Kalshi retained most of those profits. The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has opened an investigation into the trades.
