Two Scattered Spider hackers jailed 5.5 years for hacking London transit
Owen Flowers and Thalha Jubair, two members of the notorious Scattered Spider hacking group, pleaded guilty and were each sentenced to five years and six months in prison for hacking London's metropolitan transit system. UK police said the arrests significantly disrupted the group's operations. Scattered Spider has been linked to numerous high-profile cyberattacks against major corporations and public infrastructure.
