Macron vows zero tolerance for arsonists after Fontainebleau forest fires
French President Emmanuel Macron visited the Fontainebleau forest on the outskirts of Paris after wildfires scorched at least 10% of the 20,000-hectare historic domain. He pledged to replant the forest and warned the fire could take several weeks to fully extinguish. Several arrests have been made, including that of a volunteer firefighter placed under formal investigation for arson.
